helping individuals find strength to overcome anxiety and depression

You’ve been experiencing a lot of changes in your life, and you were hoping they would make you happy. New experiences bring a sense of excitement and adventure, but they are often accompanied by fear and worry. Maybe you just graduated and got your dream job but feel overwhelmed by anxiety. You got a fresh start in a new city, but feel lonely and disconnected. You are starting a new relationship and are scared it’s not working out, or maybe you just ended a relationship. You’re navigating the reality that some of your friendships may be causing more problems than they are worth.

All of these experiences are part of life, but sometimes they are tough to handle alone. Some days it’s hard to go into work because you feel your heart racing and your stomach turning as you walk up to your desk or see your boss approaching. You’re wondering if you should just give up. It feels like you are completely alone because your friends and family are hours away and you haven’t met anyone in your new home. Should you just pack up and go home? While your specific situation may be different, some of these feelings are ringing true to you.

The good news is, it gets better. This is where I come in. Through helping you tap into strengths you may not even know you had, I can help you learn to live the life you want to live. You’ll learn how to set appropriate boundaries when needed, and how to stand up for yourself in an assertive way. You’ll learn how to approach your fears and work through them so they don’t have to hold you back any more. If you’re ready to start experiencing life in a more fulfilling way, I would be happy to help you get started. Contact me today to set up a phone consultation or to schedule your first appointment!
